Video feedback involves connecting a camera to a screen so that it displays it’s output. When pointed back at the screen, it produces a hall of mirrors effect, the outcome of which is often psychedelic.

A music video visualising the theme of the Avalanches latest album. It is heavily influenced by psychedelic music from the 1960’s; To capture this style, I employed techniques commonly used within that time period, for example video feedback. I then recorded the footage onto a VHS tape that I tampered with to give a distinctly retro feel.
